The Trolley Junction is a sizeable restaurant in the center of the Northern Queen Inn complex of buildings. It features a ±4,750 main restaurant with a commercial kitchen, a main dining room with seating for up to 110 patrons, a separate private banquet room for up to 50 additional guests, and two antique- style trolley cars containing ±1,000 additional square feet of dining areas for small groups, clubs and private pru1ies. The main restaurant building was constructed in 1986/87 with the kitchen expanded and renovated in 1991. The kitchen serves the main restaurant dining areas, the outdoor deck and the trolley cars. In addition it cooks the food for "The Village," which it serves through a serving kitchen at The Village. The kitchen has tile floors and 8-foot tile wainscoting on all the walls. The remaining walls and ceiling have a sealed Marlite finish for ease of cleaning. Most of the kitchen equipment and fixtures are stainless steel with overhead fans and a fire suppression sprinkler system and exhaust hoods over cooking surfaces. There are large commercial gas stoves, ovens, and grills, cold-storage freezers and coolers, deep fryers, salad boxes, ice-makers, food prep areas and holding/warming areas, and a separate clean-up area with commercial dishwashers and sinks. Although most of the equipment is not new, it all appears to be in good, serviceable condition and seems to be well maintained. The antique-style trolley-style dining/meeting cars are not actual antiques but were built on site in antique style in 1987/88 on actual flatbed rail cars sitting on elevated railroad tracks at the edge of the outdoor decking across from the main restaurant building, also overlooking the natural pool and waterfall. The two cars are different sizes and can be used for private dining or stand-up receptions/cocktail parties. The larger car can hold up to around 40 people for dining and perhaps 50 or 60 for stand-up receptions, with one end of the car used for a small service area. The smaller car can hold 25 or 30 seated or 40 or so standing. The total size of the Trolley Junction dining areas is approximately 5,750 square feet. All the areas are in good, attractive conditions and well maintained. Due to their central position on the site, they are in easy walking distance from most types of guest units on the site. There is also a trolley-style bus that can bring guests from the various parts of the property to the Trolley Junction - or to the swimming pool/spa area. A $30,000 deposit is all that is required from a new Tenant to use all the existing equipment.
