Shaman Gallery is the largest originals art gallery in the Dakotas and is located in an updated energy efficient historic sandstone-block building in the beautiful Black Hills.  The community is one of America’s Historic Destinations of Distinction.  With over 4,000 sq. ft., this river frontage gallery located "across from the waterfall" includes five exhibition spaces, wine bar, large private studio/framing shop, manager’s office, public and private bathrooms, radiant heat and oak floors, eleven foot tin ceilings and lots of stained glass. The sale includes the building (valued at $650,000) and over $750,000 of gallery owned inventory for only $425,000. Health forces sale.

Some of the art includes paintings by Native American, western, contemporary, original illustration, national and regional artists, sculpture, pottery, jewelry, artifacts, bead work, Eskimo, African and much more.  Some of the gallery inventory artists include, R C Gorman, Frank Howell, Fritz Scholder, Earl Biss, Kevin Red Star, Mark Kostabi, Dali, Chagall, Anthony Quinn, Peter Max, Robert Crumb, Wm. Schneck, John Nieto and many others. The gallery office houses the original 1800's Train Master's desk from Deadwood.  The large central oak staircase culminates under a stained glass dome.  This building has been completely remodeled to all the latest plumbing and electrical codes and is super insulated with hi-tech materials.

Originally the Morris Grand Theater, the building was built in 1911; the outlaw Cole Younger of Jesse James and the Younger Gang spoke here in 1911. The dramatic sandstone arched and recessed entrance still has the old Morris Grand tile-work on the ground and ornamental top flag pole.  A new aluminum frame construction canopy/awning announces the gallery to the public.  The gallery has many dedicated art patrons.

Facilities:Two story remodeled sandstone block building, storage basement for packing materials, Radiant heat Tile first floor, Oak floor secnd level,
Competition:There are two small local artist galleries, one for a potter and one painter. Shaman Gallery is the largest art gallery in the four state area and there is no comperable gallery out side of Denver or Chicago. Often compared to New Yo rk Galleries by visitors.
Growth Potential:A business evaluation stated that an additional $100,000 per year income could be realized by adding a framing shop as the nearest one is 60 miles away. There is plenty of space for this option in the private studio area. Gallery is considered a 'landmark' business in this area
