Established in 1999, at the start of the internet revolution, the company have found a true niche in the market designing, manufacturing and retailing Triathlon race suits and female swimwear to the UK and worldwide. By concentrating on these two sports and their related products, it has given the company a distinctive edge and expertise in providing the finest product available at competitive prices. From Triathlon it is a natural progression to move into the word of cycling. The company has developed and road tested a completely new cycle bib shortwith great success. New equipment has been sourced for the in house sublimation printing of clothing such as cycle jerseys, rowing, rugby etc. the list is endless.

The comprehensive range of swimwear which the company retails includes, maternity, tankini, bikini, competition, poolwear, thongs, sarongs and skirts. They also retail accessories for the beach including, hats, bags and creams. Production is now totally made in the UK from the companies own design and fit patterns. Contact has been maintained with a previously used Far East manufacturer, who wopuld manufacture bulk selling lines, releasing UK production for the more bespoke profitable lines.

The company offers a unique bespoke service to Triathlon and swimming clubs, which they intend to exploit over the coming years. The company does not know of anyone else in the UK who offer such a complete service and because of this the company has a growing reputation and presence within the two sports, especially Triathlon.

The company has a database of over 6,000 satisfied customers, with many testimonials received. They supply many UK Triathlon clubs who buy bulk purchases of bespoke race suits in their club colours and are the official supplier to over 70% of the national regional squads. 2011 has seen an increase in export business with customers in Australia (supplying two regional squads for a 4th year) , Greece, South Africa and the National Junior Zimbabwe teams (for a third year). An e-bay site is also buoyant with regular transactions on a daily basis. In 2010 they expanded their operation and have experienced continual monthy sales growth.

As with all internet businesses, customer service is paramount to the success of the company. They pride themselves on a three day delivery anywhere in the UK, and if required, can offer a next day service both with a seven day returns policy
Facilities:The leasehold premises are circa 1,200 sq. ft. with a small office on a mezzanine floor with a workshop, machine room, and storage on the ground floor. Work is starting shortly to build a second floor to add more production space. Rent is circa £7,500 per annum with rates of £1,000 per annum with a negotiable time scale.
Growth Potential:Whilst the company makes good margins from its UK produced swimwear, they make higher profits from the sportswear side which includes the bespoke triathlon club wear. They have maintained contacts with the China factory who could take up the slack when demand outstrips UK capacity. The market for pool wear and competition wear is enormous, with no single company attacking this area. Growth in this sector could be achieved by simply advertising to all of the swimming clubs in the UK. The company regularly advertises in the premier Triathlon magazines including “Triathlon News” and “220 Tri”, in which they have been voted the supplier of the month on two recent occasions. They have also been awarded a £12,000 match funded grant with the remit to contact 275 British Triathlon clubs and secure 50% as customers within two years. A new dedicated website has been developed for the sale of the Triathlon clothing that is made and sold. The first year Jan 2013 to June 2013 sales were £27,000. The company website has been re-developed and is technologically up to date and along with eBay is averaging sales of £5,000 a month. The Company has a 3 year presence on the Amazon store with sales up 35% in 2013 average sales being £10,000.00 per month. Demand for these products has increased dramatically. The Triathlon season is late spring to late Autumn and already this season, March and April 2013 the business has sold £13,000.00 of products, in the same period 2012 this was £5,300. The demand for bespoke club kit has followed in the same vein. In the first part of this year the customer base doubled, despite the basic price of a suit increasing from £48 to £60.
