The Business:
We began this business 20 years ago with just an idea. From humbled beginnings we have developed an incredibly successful and reputable business. We operate with 22 horses of various ages and sizes. Our tack shed is a 4 bay barn with front being board and batten material, with 3 of the bays having large opening doors and concrete floors, this includes toilet facilities the fourth having a sectional garage door, with a dirt floor.
We operate our Treks under a Department of Conversation concession licence, which has just been renewed for a further 10 years, ending in 2021. This licence allows our business to operate within the boundaries of Kahurangi National Park which is a very rare and unique part of the licence. We have been taking multi-day treks into the park for years. Due to an increase in shorter treks we have not further developed these treks but this is a huge expansion area.
