Our company is one of only a few companies manufacturing dress forms/mannequins in the United States. The advantage to our customers is a quick turn around; not waiting for containers, or having to place large orders months in advance. In this retail economic environment, where budgets are released only shortly before stores are opening, the option of ordering fewer forms, more often, is a necessary option to buyers.
In the past 5 years, the demand for dress forms in the visual display arena, has increased tremendously as the generic simplicity of dress forms creates less need to constantly retrofit a store environment in order to make it look fresh. We have the ability to create custom dress form shapes and molds, through the development department, in our own facility located in Brooklyn, New York.
Our factory is conveniently located with easy access to transportation to and from New York City. Customers can come to the factory and lay out an entire floor plan for stores like Ports 1961 for Harvey Nichols, Hurley, or Calypso. We also work with stylists who can share the customizing process "hands on" in our development dept., as will be seen on the Oxygen Television series "House of Glam".
Designers often bring fit models to our factory, or send specific measurements to be duplicated. Our molds encompass a range of contemporary body shapes, whether they are hanging (as in the Harvey Nichols shop in shop for Ports 1961), or displaying bikinis in several New Hurley stores. Any shape can be customized to the client's measurements, with only a few changes to one of our molds from our extensive mold collection. Our factory can easily accommodate large retail rollouts, as well as smaller timely shipments for seasonal budgets.
Our dress forms are used by fashion designers, clothing manufacturers, teachers, pattern makers, dressmakers, museum coordinators, theatre costumers, and more. Our visual display forms have been featured in roll outs (multiple store openings) by Tommy Hilfiger, Levis, Eddie Bauer, Ports 1961, BMW, Macy's and many more.
