This taxi service offers 3 plates, near new vehicles. We also have a transport depot which is optional for the new owners to keep operating. There is enough accommodation on the premises to rent out for staff, so you are automatically make a returned investment. This business easily operates with 3 FT & 2 PT staff. Country taxis are able to operate at your own discretion, we currently do not operate on a Sunday. The town is growing very fast with 5 yrs of current contract govt. development these workers would like the service opened on a Sunday. However my partner has been diagnosed with cancer & we are forced to sell, so this is not our choice to sell.
Facilities:This business has great qualities as you work from home, get to create your own hours. We currently operate it as a family business with parents as owners daughters & a son-in-law driving. Our grandchildren also live with us so we get to watch them grow & enjoy the healthy lifestyle the Kimberley's have to offer. We have had a fabulous time growing working loving & living the Kimberley lifestyle, now it's time to pass it onto someone else time to share it with others.
Competition:This business has no competition it is the only taxi service within a 370klm radius of the town. The taxi business services the town & surrounding communities. Most trips are within the township but you are required to take some trips to the local communities on shopping days.
Growth Potential:We don't operate on a Sunday & the government has currently injected 1.65 Billion into the housing alone in Fitzroy Crossing so the town has now grown with contractors galore. This has put tremendous pressure on us to open on a Sunday but we just physically can't do it we don't have the staff to do it with having 2 drivers out both myself & my husband through him being ill. When we did operate on a Sunday without the contractors there it generated another $50-$75k per annum.
Training/Support:We will stay on board as long as it is required to assist with training & support for the new owners however I feel with a town that size it shouldn't take too long to get the feel for it, and you probably would want us out of the way, so all these things are negotiable and take it as you see it.
Sale Reason:Husband has Asbestos terminal cancer
