I am selling my consignment boutique in west central Florida.
The boutique sells women's new and lightly used clothing, brand name purses and jewelry.
This is a small business that has been around for over 15 years in the small coastal city of Crystal River, Fl.
I bought the business almost 2 years ago hoping that i could hire somebody to run it for me as i am extremely busy with other business ventures.
The boutique really only thrives when the TLC of the owner is there on a daily basis so i am not able to get the returns that the previous owner was getting and i have decided to sale to a person who could give this business the attention it needs.
You could make an extra $15,000 to $20,000 a year with a small boutique as this one. Perfect to complement a retirement/pension income.
The store is a 100% consignment but with a donation policy, consignors provide the merchandise but with very few exceptions the merchandise does not get returned to them, we price it , after 60 days it goes 50% off and after 3 months at the store merchandise is donated at the owner's discretion.
The store currently has hundreds of active regular consignors so there is never a shortage of merchandise.
What you will get with the sale:
All of the inventory in the store , included but not limited , to clothing, purses, custom jewelry, store fixtures , displays , racks, shelving units , laptop and appropriate consignments softwares , tag printers, tagging guns, etc, etc.
It is important to note that the most valuable asset included in the business is the “goodwill”
Business goodwill is defined as all the intangible value that is left over outside of your intellectual property. These include your relationships with customers, the value of your brand (apart from the trademark itself), and the relationship between your business and the community.
As i mentioned before this is a business that has been around for over 15 years with the same name and a large following of loyal customers and consignors throughout all this years.
The boutique is currently located inside a location that is shared with another business (Merle norman cosmetics) in a 800 sq ft that we split half and half.
Upon the sale of the business a new location will have to be secure as Merle norman is expanding and taking the full extend of the 800 Sq ft.
I have set a starting asking price for the sale of $25,000 and of course open to negotiations and even owner financing for the right person as long as %50 of the asking price can be paid up front.
Please only inquiries from serious buyers.
|Facilities:||The store currently shares an establishment with a cosmetics studio(Merle Norman ) as Merle Norman wants to expand the store WILL have to be moved to a new location.|
|Competition:||There are no other consignments shops in the area which is part of the reason why this one has managed to survive over 14 years.|
|Growth Potential:||The growth potential for the store is tremendous, mostly if the business can be brought online it would really help it grow.|
|Training/Support:||Training to be able to run the business could be learned extremely fast.|
|Seller Financing:||I would consider seller financing with a minimum down payment of at least half the asking price.|
|Sale Reason:||The store needs an active owner in the business, i cant currently do that due to other ventures.|
