The Lodge is a completely unfenced camp with frequent visitors, such as Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Hippo, Giraffe and a variety of antelope species such as Bush Buck, Impala, Duiker, Kudu and Water Buck that move in and out of camp. Sometimes even a crocodile! Enjoy sitting on your veranda or at the pool spotting animals strolling through camp.
Enjoy a unique African Safari experience; go on guided open vehicle safaris, learn about the wilderness on a bush walk, listen to the sounds of the African Bush while dining under the stars, or simply relax and let the animals come to you!
The lodge was started in 2010, as a dream to be part of the successful movement in Eco-tourism industry, bridging the gap to create economic growth for the conservation and preservation of flora and fauna along the Olifants river, in the nature reserve. The aim to give visitors a truly unforgettable safari experience by creating a home away from home atmosphere, in a small tucked away bush retreat. An authentic bush experience was created where people and animals live as one. Guests from 61 different countries have already visited the Lodge.

3 Hour Guided Bush Walk, Wander the African bush on foot, learning about tracks, plants, smells of the bush, and the environment. Some animals may be encountered.
Full Day Blyde River Canyon Panorama trip. Guided by a professional local field guide, this trip allows you to  experience, not only the 3rd largest canyon in the world, but also the largest green canyon.

Bush Spa. Relax and unwind with a 1 hour full body massage, and take in the sounds and smells of the bushveld
Pool. Relax at the lodge pool and cool off, you may be surprised by the visitors you encounter. The elephants often pass by.
Endangered Specie Center. On offer are also trips to the Endangered Specie Center, where they rehabilitate injured animals and release them back into the wild. They also have a cheetah project where cheetahs are bred to increase the specie numbers. They are released into wilderness areas.
Most guests like to relax on their veranda. Being an un-fenced camp many animals may be seen.  The bird life and butterflies are also wonderful to witness.
There are 5 secluded thatched chalets ( including a Honeymoon Chalet ) and each chalet consists of the following:- Two meter queen size bed with en-suite shower, wash basin and toilet. Built in wardrobe. Lounge area with a comfortable sleeper coach (except honeymoon chalet). Private patio with view to the Olifants River where guests can enjoy nature, birds and animals, or relax in tranquility. Air conditioning. Fan. Mosquito nets. Fridge.Tea & Coffee making facilities. The lodge has 2 luxury safari tents and each consists of the following – Two ¾ beds with en-suite bath, shower, wash basin and toilet. Wardrobe. SAFARI packages include a variety of safari activities in the Kruger National Park itself. Some packages also include day trips to the Panorama Route, showcasing some of South Africa’s most scenic natural attractions and visits to one of our excellent local wildlife rehabilitation centers.
Throughout these packages, guests will be accommodated at the Lodge, an unfenced lodge on the banks of the Olifants River within the Kruger Park. On offer are two, three, four, and five nights SAFARI packages.
Or one could decide to just book a number of nights (full board) at the lodge and maybe enjoy one or two, 3 hour safaris in the greater Kruger Park.
Apart from the chalets and tents, there are also a restaurant, 2 cold rooms, fully furnished kitchen, bar area with liquor licence, 2 lounges, veranda, self contained cottage for a field guide, office/reception, swimming pool, public toilets, 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms house, laundry, 2 garages, carports for 7 vehicles, large workshop, housing for personnel, borehole, 20 000 liter water tanks, small generator, wifi, cell phone reception, small dam for water for sprayers for garden, electricity supplied by national supplier, septic tanks and french drains, 2 natural dams with piping to pump water from river, etc. Staff compliment consist of 2 chefs, 2 gardeners, 2 field guides, 4 housekeeping ladies.
